Our design process is an eight step process, as shown in the diagram. This is influenced by the one followed at the Stryker corporation. We were educated on this process by Jason Lansdown, our mentor and someone who was an ex-Stryker design engineer who now works at SteriLux Systems. We have used Solidworks, to create custom parts on our robot and to test constraints of pre-made parts in assemblies. Custom parts that we have made include a conveyor roller, battery mount, and a wobble goal clamper.
